The following weekend sees “The Boo-T Ball Resurrection” party, benefiting Open Hand. The organization was founded to provide meals for people with HIV, and has now expanded to serve those with other serious medical conditions, the elderly and others in need. Boo-T Ball founder Brandon Barron says he chose to add “Resurrection” to the title of the Oct. 28 fundraiser to show that the event is back after last year’s absence.
