Amid the nation’s sorrow, a happy 9-11 memory

Michelle and David Crosland were in New York on Sept. 11, 2001. They got engaged two days later. Sunday was hard. The daylong, nationwide memorial service for the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks was moving and often heartbreaking. I could only watch a few minutes at a time of the ceremonies held at Ground Zero, the Pentagon or the Flight 93 field in Pennsylvania.
