Blogging from WSB newsroom on Monica Pearson’s last day!
Hello from the Channel 2 newsroom, where longtime broadcaster Monica Pearson will anchor the 4 and 6 p.m. newscasts for the final time today. Pearson is retiring after 37 years and festivities building up to the big day have been going on for months. Yesterday she and Jovita Moore , whose role at the station expands with Pearson’s departure, made a tour of local radio stations . I’ll post updates later today. >>
