Guess who? Photo: Getty Images One thing about 2012: if you’re a fan of the boy band, you’re having a good year. Another thing: One Direction might be lightweights, but they’re cute, pleasant lightweights who do exactly what they’re called upon to provide – frothy music and a reason to make teens scream. Their performance of “What Makes You Beautiful” was perky and sweet and the guys spent plenty of time slapping hands with the screaming girls who crowded the stage like an “American Idol” set gone wild.
