CBS Atlanta News reporter to host charity dinner in mom’s honor
CBS Atlanta News Adam Murphy , consumer investigative reporter with CBS Atlanta News, has partnered with Fifth Group Restaurants for a charity dining event later this month. The event will benefit Cure PSP , which raises awareness and research dollars funds research of progressive supranuclear palsy, corticobasal degeneration, and related brain diseases. Murphy’s mother, Janice , was diagnosed with PSP two years ago. According to the National Institutes of Health the disease is a dreadful mystery, with no known cure, treatment or cure. “PSP is often misdiagnosed because some of its symptoms are very much like those of Parkinson’s disease (or) Alzheimer’s disease… >>
