CNN Radio Network shrinks operation in Atlanta
Starting next month, Atlanta-based CNN Radio will no longer be distributed by Dial Global or produced for U.S. radio distribution. CNN, in a statement, did say,”CNN Radio will continue to create original audio news content for international affiliates and distribution channels including CNN Newsource, the CNN Wire, and CNN.com, as well as established and emerging web and mobile applications.” Roughly, a dozen people were cut, with 20 people staying, according to radio-info.com .
