Def Leppard re-records two hits for “Rock of Ages” tie-in
Def Leppard proudly supports “Rock of Ages,” the movie. And the song. While chatting with Vivian Campbell a couple of weeks ago, the Def Leppard guitarist joked that the band is “shamelessly exploiting the connection” between its songs and “Rock of Ages.” The cheese-alicious-looking movie version of the hit Broadway musical opens June 15, but Def Leppard is hitting the promotion trail this week. The band has re-recorded two of its hits, the ubiquitous “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and, obviously, “Rock of Ages,” and will release them on all digital music carriers at midnight… >>
