‘Idol’ winner Phillip Phillips may not need kidney surgery after all; Carrie Underwood No. 1 again

Online reports that Phillip Phillips’ doctors have given the “Idol” winner alternative non-surgical treatment so it appears he won’t need invasive surgery for his kidney problems. This means he will be able to tour starting in early July, assuming said problems don’t flare up again. It sounds like the family isn’t being terribly forthcoming about details of his problems.
