Kicks 101.5 brings back its Country Fair with Alan Jackson as headliner

Alan Jackson is coming home to headline the first Kicks Country Fair in three years. CREDIT: AP Kicks 101.5, with Eagle 106.7, used to host a sold-out, two-day annual country fair at Lakewood Amphitheatre until 2008. With the recession, Citadel, the owners at the time, decided it wasn’t worth the effort and it was suspended in 2009. But Kicks, under new ownership with Atlanta-based Cumulus Media, is resurrecting the Country Fair as a one-day event October 6 and moving it north to the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater at Encore Park.
