Mr. President, meet The General. Gen. Larry Platt , who achieved fame with his viral “Pants on the Ground” tryout for “American Idol” in 2010, was among the well wishers on hand to greet President Barack Obama this morning. He can be seen from behind, in the left hand corner of this photo. The president is in town for a fundraising visit at the Westin Peacthree Plaza. He ran by The Varsity ahead of time.
