Madonna’s Super Bowl half time show featuring Nicki Minaj, CeeLo Green, M.I.A. and LMFAO was the talk of the water cooler this morning as every one compared her performance to previous years. The overall consensus has been positive EXCEPT for M.I.A. (the singer behind the Swagga Like Us song) who did an “obscene” finger gesture onstage, for which the NFL issued an apology: “The obscene gesture in the performance was completely inappropriate, very disappointing and we apologize to our fans,” said Brian McCarthy, spokesman for the NFL, which produced Madonna’s halftime show.
