Monica Pearson’s active retirement includes a new role as contributing editor for Southern Seasons Longtime Channel 2 anchor Monica Pearson signed off after 37 years this summer – but she’s staying plenty busy in her so-called “retirement.” The broadcaster admired for her on-air aplomb and off-screen dedication to charitable causes has just launched a new travel blog called A Toe in the Water and has begun taking classes at the University of Georgia.
