The Atlanta screening of “Battleship,” (the movie where Rihanna makes her big screen debut) was held May 17, 2012 and Toya, Memphitz and Reginae made it a family movie date. The science fiction flick is named after the game of the same name and premiered nationwide May 18, 2012 with mixed reviews. Kelly Clarkson joins ABC’s “Duets” starting May 24. Kelly Clarkson’s “ Stronger” is finally showing some weakness but remains No. 1 in Atlanta radio for an eighth week. Star 94 cut back play of the song this past week, which made this a contest between Clarkson and Gotye’s “Someone That I Used to Know,” which is poised to take over the top slot in a few days. By Christopher Seward Actor Will Smith didn’t take too kindly to a Ukrainian reporter who the actor said tried to kiss him on the mouth after he arrived for the Moscow premiere of “Men in Black 3.” TMZ video of the encounter showed Smith is visibly perturbed at the tall “man in white.” Although the video doesn’t indicate when the incident occurred, the actor is shown greeting well-wishers when he approached the reporter dressed in a white jacket. Phillip Phillips of Leesburg has been suffering from serious kidney problems. That’s no secret. It has impacted him on stage and has prevented him from taking part recently in the Ford commercial shoots.
