Phillip Phillips to make first post-surgery concert appearance July 4
Michael Becker/FOX Phillip Phillips , currently in recovery from kidney surgery, will make his first public concert appearance on July 4 for the annual PBS special “A Capitol Fourth.” This is just over three weeks after his surgery and two days before the “Idols Live” tour starts in Detroit July 6. The tour hits Duluth and Gwinnett Arena August 5. “Smash” actress Megan Hilty and “The Voice” Season 1 winner Javier Colon (remember him?) are part of the concert as well on top of Josh Turner, Kool & The Gang, Kelli O’Hara, Russell Watson and the National Symphony Orchestra. – The press reports for… >>
