Praise 102.5 adds 102.9 signal to boost coverage north

Radio One has swapped out its 102.9 translator. Instead of playing Hot 107,9, it is now airing gospel station 102.5. This new signal increases Praise’s coverage area to northeast Atlanta and Stone Mountain. Praise 102.5/102.9 Vice President and General Manager Timothy Davies said, “We are using our translator as it is intended to be used by the FCC. The audience demanded it and we are boosting our signal to reach more people for the product they want.” The 102.9 signal had been used for Hot 107.9, which has seen its ratings grow steadily in recent years.
