Project 9-6-1 becomes top 40

In a move  that was kept under wraps, Clear Channel Atlanta has dropped Project 9-6-1 for a top40 format. Ryan Seacrest announced the move at the Jennifer Lopez concert tonight, noting that his mom will be able to hear him again in Atlanta. More details forthcoming. This doesn’t necessarily mean the end of the active rock format. It may end up elsewhere. >>
