The legendary rocker announced Thursday afternoon that he’s leaving his judging post on the show, where he’s proffered an opinion for the past two seasons. “I’ve decided it’s time for me to let go of my mistress, ‘American Idol,’ before she boils my rabbit,” the ever-clever Tyler said in a statement. He acknowledged straying from his “first love” – Aerosmith – and suggested that his “Idol” departure was prompted by a desire to return full-force… >>
