Katy Perry nixed an “Idol” judge gig, according to TMZ. CREDIT: AP TMZ isn’t always accurate but this report sounds plausible : Katy Perry turned down a $20 million one year offer to be on “Idol.” She’s one of the biggest current pop stars with a string of hits under her belt. Why wouldn’t “Idol” want her? But Perry obviously has plenty of other options to keep her career aloft. “Idol” is not one she is going to consider.
