Hannah Thomas comes out to play
Hannah Thomas, a 22-year-old native of Covington, Ga., has spent the last few years touring the East Coast and establishing herself as a mainstay on the local music scene. Last year, she won the Georgia Lottery’s All Access Music Search — impressive because she started as one of thousands of contestants competing for the prize of recording an EP at Capitol Records in Los Angeles. It’s the first child for her and husband Justin Miller. “We are so thankful for all the prayers and support and are excited to take some time together as a new family,” she said in a statement. Collective Soul’s Will Turpin talks charity concert, new solo record

Back then, Elmore was part of the promotions team at Atlantic Records, the label that Turpin and his bandmates in Collective Soul called home. Now, Elmore is a board member for Florida-based organization Rock By the Sea, which uses music and events to raise money for worthwhile causes. Ray LaMontagne postpones Cobb Energy Centre show
Looks like there’s trouble for Ray LaMontagne. The bluesy Americana singer-songwriter has had to postpone his performance tonight at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre due to strep throat. Fans won’t have to wait long for his return, though. The show has been rescheduled for next Thursday, Dec. 6 .
