In the meantime, here’s something I wrote before I left: Atlanta-based Turner Classic Movies (TCM) honors the late great Andy Griffith tonight, Wednesday, July 18 by airing four of his classic films. Griffith passed away July 3 at age 86 . TCM’s four-film memorial tribute is set to begin at 8 p.m. with Griffith’s brilliant performance in Elia Kazan’s “A Face in the Crowd” from 1957 The night also features the hilarious service comedy “No Time for Sergeants” from 1958.
