TV best bets with series finales of ‘Dog Whisperer,’ ‘Weeds,’ returns of ‘X Factor,’ ‘The Voice’
Two long-running series that have very little to do with each other draw to a close: Nat Geo Wild’s “Dog Whisperer” on Saturday and Showtime’s “Weeds” on Sunday. And two competitive reality programs that are direct competitors return this week: “The Voice” on NBC starting Monday and “The X Factor” on Wednesday with new judges Demi Lovato and Britney Spears . And “America’s Got Talent” on NBC ends its run Thursday.
