Whitney Houston’s mom writing memoir
AP photo Whitney Houston’s mother will write a book about her daughter, who died this spring at age 48. The Associated Press reports that Cissy Houston signed with HarperCollins to write the “unabridged and unbelievable story” of her famous daughter. The book comes out next February and while financial terms weren’t revealed, the announcement indicated that some proceeds will be donated to the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, N.J., Whitney’s childhood church home and where she was memorialized. Her death was ruled a drowning, with drug use cited as contributing factors. Houston’s family and associates have remained in the news… >>
